ART IN STRUCTURE & FORM
This is such an iconic piece of engineering that spans the Firth of Forth and has done since 18**. So many tales and facts about this bridge can be reamed off but at the end of day, it is a remarkable and imposing structure. It's shape, even it's silhouette, is instantly recognisable all over the world. As you drive over the much younger and soon to be replaced Forth Road Bridge, it is like a magnet for the eye and you cannot help but look over to admire it's form. Beautiful engineering.
