I only wish that my photography skills were good enough to translate both the views and the emotion that this land invokes in me. When you live in amongst such beauty, it can only serve as a constant source of inspiration and awe that compels me to share these wee views in the only way I know how - through the medium of photography..

Scotland has such magnificent views from coast to coast, but it is these intimate wee landscapes that are buried, often hidden, within them that I always look for. I love these wee gems that nature can show and reveal to you every now and then. It is collections of images like these that confirm my passion for photography and shows you, the viewer, that there is more to reward the eye than grand vistas and blue skies (not that you get that all that often here in Scotland). Scotland has always had strong links to the engineering world. Personally, I have worked in engineering, near enough, all my working life. So I don't know if my influences come from this but I do find most structures both captivating and strangely beautiful. Whether it be Bridges, Lighthouses or even Industrial Cooling Towers, there is always something that fascinates me, which, hopefully, you will see from my wee collection of images.
